Mr. Bengochea has over 30 years of professional civil engineering experience, including project management, routing and sighting of electric transmission lines and substations, civil engineering design of structures, bridges and utility projects, grading and infrastructure engineering, permitting for utility projects, agency coordination engineering design such as roadway, drainage, water conveyance and grading layouts. He specializes in design high voltage transmission line and interconnections, grading and roadway designs, bridge designs, analyzing and designing electric substation structures and engineering retaining walls. He also specializes in bringing his breadth of engineering and design knowledge to his concurrent role as Project Manager. He has held multiple lead responsible positions at both his previous job (NV Energy) and his current employer, Tri Sage Consulting.
