Mr. Penrose has over 30 years of professional experience in utility engineering and project management for the water and gas industries. 
He has completed and overseen water and gas designs ranging from small service installations and replacements to large transmission projects. 
Mr. Penrose is currently developing the Tri Sage emergency management and gas engineering services. Ron’s gas experience includes design and construction management of gas distribution facilities. As Gas and Water Engineering Supervisor, he was responsible for the computer modeling of Sierra Pacific’s gas distribution system. He was also involved in the evaluation of a central propane system up Mr. Rose Highway as an alternative to natural gas line extension. He has also managed the O & M of Sierra Pacific’s gas distribution and water distribution system. Mr. Penrose has also developed skill sets within the areas of water system planning, design, construction, emergency response and operations. Over the years he has led and developed work teams that have produced multiple successful water supply projects that have greatly benefited the Reno-Sparks metropolitan community.  Mr. Penrose has developed professional relationships with key governmental and agency staff, regulators, and stakeholders which are necessary for development and implementation of projects and the success of project teams.
